Our Story
In February, 2011, Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel was acquired by experienced retailers, Lou Frasca and Dan Bishop. These two gentlemen have continued to grow and nurture the long established Scrivener’s brand that has been an important part of Burlington Downtown for 40 years. New brands and ideas complement the traditional classics that Scrivener’s customers have grown to depend upon over the years.

Lou Frasca: Over 25 years of retail experience
Lou Frasca began his career in retail, working with Dan Bishop at Crossings Menswear in the Burlington location, quickly moving in to the role of store manager for several years. He moved on to a wholesale sales role at Wolverine Canada and then spent close to 10 years at Blazer for Men in Oakville. Lou has three young daughters that keep him on his toes!

Dan Bishop: Over 40 years of menswear retail experience.
Dan started his career in Burlington with Orman G Bush (currently Bush’s Mens Wear) and C.J. Eames & Sons. He went on to become Operations Manager for the Jack Fraser chain. He then, as Director of Operations for Crossings Mens Wear, helped to develop in its 18 locations, including Mapleview Mall, Burlington.
